Next week, AHAM will be presenting at the Gifts in Kind International Product Giving Conference on the topic of creative ways to communicate philanthropic efforts. In 2007, for its 40th anniversary, AHAM began a product donation campaign called Home Sweet Home to help the New Orleans area residents recover from Hurricane Katrina. Our goal was to provide 40 families with a full suite of home appliances. With the generous efforts of our member companies, we easily surpassed that number.
